That's exactly me, I've been eyeballin slightly older 911's Porsches for a few yrs now, I want one, I just don't wanna spend the damn money....

I doesn't help that I drive by a Porsche dealer on my way home from work everyday...

I know how damn impractical that car is, but I've wanted one for 15 yrs now.... I couldn't afford one then, now I can swing it easier, but still.... I keep trying to live a more simple "toy" free life, but that is a toy that I have a hard time getting out of my mind.

I'll join that club.

I like the nicer cars, it just KILLS me to spend more than $30K on a car. I just can't watch the bank account shrink like that.

I was just looking online autotrader.com..... you can get into the lower end Porsche's for 35k......

I'm with you, I don't wanna spend a lot of money on a car......

Some of the younger engineers in my office all drive nice BMW's.... LOL, up to their necks in school loan debt and cars loans.

Honda fit owner here. Holla! $17k

Such a waste to spend too much on a car that depreciates as you drive it off the lot.

Yup...my husband works with a few guys that are single and/or a bit younger (they work for him) and they all drive the cheaper Mercedes and BMW models. He drives a crappy ass pick-up truck...LOL

He needs a car SO BAD and he keeps asking my opinion on cars, and then he gets insulted and/or annoyed when I don't share his enthusiasm for the car he's looking at.

I think we should play a game called Whose Ride Was Cheaper. LOL The make and model really don't impress me. Many expensive ones look like less expensive ones to me, so it doesn't matter. In fact, there are expensive cars that I think are ugly.

So, who has plans for the 4th? My plans started at the liquor store after work this afternoon. I picked up a 6-pack of Mike's Hard Black Raspberry Lemonade - ice cold and yummy. And a bottle of Bicardi . . . just in case. One never knows if they are going to have a liquor emergency. LOL

I'm doggie sitting for a week, so I may do chores. I may not. I may go out for fireworks. I may not. Just call me Spontaneous. oooooooo

It is nice to not have to fork over money for car payments.....
