Maybe he'll look better in 20 years, but at the moment, his face is nothing I'd give a second glance to.

Perhaps finding him "hot" is like those high frequency sounds that older people can't hear-
I'm 40, so I guess I'm in "the older crowd"

Except that I know I wouldn't have found him good looking
(from vantage point of myself 20 years ago), either.
Just not my "type", I suppose. -shrug-

I wouldn't even get into the car of the guy I'm seeing until our 3rd date... much less some random dude yelling at me from a car.

Besides, if a good looking guy is showing me any type of attention I can only assume he wants to hook up and since I'm not into hookups I'll politely decline.

Yuck. You know this is a perfect example of how someone can have the physical looks but act like an idiot. I saw him in an interview and his flighty, bubblegum type personality would NOT do it for me!

To answer your question, no I wouldn't get in the car with someone I didn't know to go get to know him. Setting and the context and how you get to know someone is important.

Why do men think like this? First of all, he's not that attractive. What sells me on a guy is his smile, which, in my mind, tells me he probably has a good heart. Secondly, anyone who'd approach me in that way would get labeled arrogant, and I'd walk away as fast as possible. I hate ego and arrogance.

Because they apparently think women think like men. They think 'well, if a hot chick pulled up in a Ferrari and asked me to go home with her OF COURSE I would!!' so they think a woman would do the same thing. They don't really have to worry about being abducted, abused, raped etc. either so it's a win-win scenario for them.

How can men go through their entire lives so out of touch with women? Why are men in our society so estranged from women? Don't some of them have sisters they feel protective towards? Or are they on the all-narcissism all-the-time channel?

Still trying to figure out what the point of this thread is. Because it seems to me it belongs in the trash can. Either that or a teeny bopper fan site. "omg, it's robert pattinson, omg he's sooooooo hot!" Seriously, OP? You can't do better than this?

I am not giving you a hard time or insulting you....
Regarding bolded, very, very extreme behavior.

Just saying.

I was actually surprised by the list. I didn't click through very far, but way better than the typical list. I actually saw quite a few people I think ate attractive on the list. That's rare! :P

Why? I live in a place with excellent public transportation and don't even own a car. I prefer to have complete autonomy (i.e. be able to comfortably get out of a situation if it becomes dangerous or uncomfortable) so being in someones car that I hardly know puts me in a very vulnerable position.
