A crush = when you want to hold hands with him while skipping through a meadow of daises.

Lust = you want to shag him senseless in a meadow of daises.

"Limerence at first sight" is a more correct description.

How do you personally tell limerence from lust?
try checking your genitals for a response

I do want people to share their personal experiences.
i think "limerence" is just another expression of narcissism.

Is your comment about limerence and narcissism serious? If so, what do you mean? Maybe it's an insight I'll appreciate.

it is the seeking of validation, which is narcissism. the subconscious thought process goes something like: "the limerant object has value, and if the L.O. values me, that must mean I too have value."

limerence isn't a shared experience. the actual thoughts and feelings of the 'limerant object' don't come into play. it isn't "Love" because it takes place purely in one's own mind.

Sometimes, there is nothing better than a good, old fashioned crush! Or a good limerence.
