it is the seeking of validation, which is narcissism. the subconscious thought process goes something like: "the limerant object has value, and if the L.O. values me, that must mean I too have value."
limerence isn't a shared experience. the actual thoughts and feelings of the 'limerant object' don't come into play. it isn't "Love" because it takes place purely in one's own mind.
Sometimes, there is nothing better than a good, old fashioned crush! Or a good limerence.
