Today, in our society, the divorce rate is extremely high.
There are many reasons for this...
1. Get married to young
2. To fast
3. Jump into something because that’s the next step in a relationship
4. There’s no one better that will come along and love u more
5. Family responsibilities
6. Money
And many more.
But is it practical these days, other than the benefits that come with marriage (government)
I feel that a strong, committed couple that gets married that has a healthy relationship and great communication can work. But it’s rare that all of those come into play.
I feel once the title marriage is put onto a relationship that was perfectly stable and healthy before they got married, this title (piece of paper) gets in the way and changes our standards and way we think when we are in a relationship, disappointments, and expectations on their spouse that they cannot meet.
What you all think of marriage these days?? Are people just giving in to soon, giving up, or settling for the worst??
