Romance doesn't exist anymore didn't you know?

Men don't need to court anymore. Lady's bring home the bacon now.

Which in actuality is a farce in the sense men do hold doors.

Babysteps.

Holding doors is all that's left. I don't find anything romantic about equality. It's fair but not romantic.

He said that? Haha. It shows that he is a human.

He should be silenced.

I know, now men are afraid of us. I'm so scary.

2. Texting as a primary way to communicate. Men love to text. I'd rather talk.
I actually have heard that one before and I will keep it in mind.

See, productive criticism and conscious behavior!

Yes he actually said that, there are YouTube clips of it. Just search on the quote and clips come right up.

Learning about this kinda endeared him to me.

Yes it does and I am trying to prove it. I am newly seeing someone and a mutual friend (who also is the girlfriend of one of my housemates) said she thinks I am "going about this in a gentle way that I thought did not even exist anymore". The three of us are all over 50 and the two of them thought the same way you do. I need to court because I don't take anything - or any woman - for granted.

Well I wish you luck.

This is a fair question, and I believe I know the answer.

The fact is, men almost never go out of their way to befriend women without a romantic and/or sexual motive. I mean, almost never. Women, however, will often go out of their way to make platonic male friends, Men find this very confusing, because it is just something it never occurs to them to do.
