about a year or so ago I was reading a craigslist ad of a woman lamenting about how aweful it was dating men in their 40's. If a man is single in his 40's it means one of a handfull of things, he lost his rear end in a divorce or 2, was treated as chopped liver by women, is asexual or is rich and managed to play all the way till 40 (we should all be so lucky).

In most cases its the first 2.

5: he didn't get out of grad school until he was 30, and spent 10 years building his career.

6. Hasn't met the right woman.

You forgot one. He hasn't met the right woman yet. Could be for him she doesn't exist.

If he only was interested in one woman his entire life (and the wrong one, at that), that could be his problem.

Maybe that woman was the only one interested in him? Not many guys have the kind of options guys who are successful and women think all men have.

Highlife said she was into some "bad boy". So she wasn't interested in doctor with the half million dollar home. That's why I said the doc was going after the wrong woman.

I never said anything about bad boys or million dollar homes.
