I love rap and i'm not going to attack the OP for asking what appeared to be an ignorant question.
I agree that in today's rap, there are too many rappers that use that fast beat/ new orleans style bounce and it does get tiring after a while, but rap and hip hop is a culture. No one should be looked down on for respecting a certain culture.
It is about incompatibility more than "looking down."
