I'll try to help as best I can. After you hit post reply, ^up on the top row where the symbols are there's a paper clip click on it, then a box pops up for you to select file (pic) from you computer, choose a pic from you pc, then hit upload.
That's if the website works... I've gone to post pics doing the same process you mention and the server just comes back with a 404 website error... half the time it doesn't work...

Hmmm, I do recall having that 404 error happened for a brief period of time when it was happening to everyone, some six months or so ago, but, I haven't had that issue since then. I would say something to the mods if you ever have that issue again.
