Out of the blue yesterday my wife told me she wants to divorce because she isn't happy. It was shocking and i feel betrayed. Therefore, I never want to see her again. If she doesn't want me then she doesn't get my money so I plan on draining the bank account and running away. My money is the only thing I care about right now.
If your name is on the deed to the house, she'll need you to sign paperwork. If you run away, it's easy to track you down, so it's pointless. Get yourself a lawyer (you'll be at the mercy of hers, if you don't), and negotiate that you get the money, she gets the house. Simple. If she's leaving simply because she's not happy, there'll be no animosity unless you introduce some. So negotiations should be relatively amicable.

Amicable? I didn't see this coming. I am more than capable of living off the grid.
How long have you been married?
Do you think she would go to counseling?
10 years. She doesn't want to go to counseling. Why am I getting hate for trying to protect my money?
