Turn the circuit off and have someone feed the wire and another pull it... this is standard electrician ****...
If a circuit can be turned off, do it... I've gone through about a100 hundred hours of safety training in this regard.
Most of the time it's home retards that screw around and get in trouble and wind up in the hospital.....
Just don't lick your fingers and stick them in the wall outlet......
Oh yeah, I'd turn it off from the main panel.
