And I used food to rectify my feeling of sadness. French fries topped with cheese. I used it along with spiced rice and beans. Tasted so good, and helped me overcome my gloominess.

And the inspiration for todays meal was CSD610, who makes creative blends at times. I gave it a shot this time .

That is an interesting combination. Is that 3-bean salad on that rice?

Yes. French fries, cheddar cheese, 3 bean salad, and veggie briyani.

Did it taste good?

I'm not big on rice or fries at all, but I like 3-bean salad

Yes, it was pretty good. All the flavors meshed very well. You might want to make your own 3 bean or buy one preserved in sour & salty syrup. Sweet syrup completely ruins the tastes. I drained out the sweet syrup in which the bean was preserved prior to putting it in the rice.

I've been making this one for a few years. I sub out the soy beans and use garbanzos instead. YUM!

Yup..it's a good lunch option for me. I make it at night and have it the next day. 2nd day it's always better

Well I'm exhausted and hitting the bed. I'm travelling tomorrow and have to be up early. 2 more weekends and then I can SLEEP LATE in my own bed! I am looking forward to it

I'm happy to be inspirational when I can and yes that is an interesting combination.
I'll have to give you the ingredients and directions for the cheese sauce I created myself though. I bet you would really like it a lot and be inspired to make it and use it often.

I'm sorry your friend treated you that way, it never feels good when that happens.

Okay, I couldn't stand it so I had to do a search to see if I could find out what "sth" (that I've been seeing on the forum often) means.

It means "something", now tell me how in hades name I am supposed to figure out that those 3 letters are in place of a 9 letter word. I mean "sth" that isn't even most of the word and no indication toward what it might be.

I was raised in a "use complete words or do not speak" household and after 54 years, it is a very hard habit to break.
