think it might be time to hunker down in here. It is spooky out there. Nothing much scares me or surprises me.

BioMechanical, great picture! Congratulations. Two of our three bathrooms are out of commission. My husband finished grouting both of them last night. I think we'll be able to paint and put all the fixtures in the powder room downstairs this weekend. Two working toilets again, wooooooo! Love the beadboard. We don't have it on the walls, but the new vanity is beadboard. Our tiles are similar but a mix of slate blue and brown. The walls will be a warm chocolate milk color. The master bath is still in progress. We took out the original tub, a tiny, ugly blue cast iron thing that we never used for baths. I'm 6', he's 6'3" ... no way was that tub doing anything for anyone except being ugly. The man is building a walk-in shower in that spot.

Nice work!

Thanks, Julia! This was my grandma's house, and she passed away in November so we are sprucing the place up a bit, and getting it ready to sell. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, at least for the amount of money we put into it, which wasn't that bad at all. Definite improvement over the previous 1960's look that is for sure.

Hope your project goes well! Good luck.

Is everyone on vacation?
It has been as boring at our home today as the new posts.

I've been working long hours this week. I'm not sure what day it is!

My morning is mostly free. I don't want to jump into anything to major. Perhaps I can finish up a couple of projects.

I work on a project by project basis. My last couple of projects have been way out in the sticks, long drives, I'm talking 88 miles one way.

That's been crappy. I haven't really had to put in long hours, just a standard day, but the day gets long when you have to add 3 plus hours a day to your standard day.

I'm in the process of wrapping up the long commuter and was handed a new project.

This project is 3 miles from the house

In reviewing the plans and all the documentation and the engineering it's gonna be a cluster F... with a capital F......

So.... I guess since the far away job was a standard cluster F, I guess I should be happy with the close job with the capital cluster F.......

Either way I haven't had a project that has gone smoothly in about 4 yrs..... I keep getting all the crappy ones...

Starting to wonder if they're trying to give me a hint......
