I hate Papa John's tonight and it was gross! I miss the around the block beat up looking local pizzeria I used to go to where I lived in the Bronx. I think, to this day, it's some of the best pizza I've ever had
Yeah, I imagine NY is the motherland of Italian pizza joints... LOL.... Papa John's is the better of the cardboard pie's... but still, the bar is scraping the heels to eek out that recommendation......

I haven't had pizza hut since I was a kid... I am not even sure they're still here. Dominos is ~ although I have never tried it... I think I saw an add for a domino's pizza that had dorito crust or something.... gross.
Real pizza with real mozzarella, fresh, not the rubbery crap, real pepperoni, I mean the fresh stuff, the pizza dough that was rolled out 5 mins before being loaded up...
It's the simple fresh basic ingredients that make the Pie........ fresh in any dish is the way to cook.... yeah, we can take shortcuts and we do all the time, but to have things done right and to be the best it's needs time and fresh ingredients and a little love thrown in and it's all good.......

I just realized I have the wrong word in the title of the blog I posted today, cripes I cannot believe I let that mistake get by. I hope the moderator I sent a direct message to can correct it so I don't look like a complete language idiot.
There is a local place that makes the best. I can't stomach much else.
