Well we are about half done with the basement and talk about ewe, gross, nasty.
The kicker to us cleaning the basement is: It isn't our stuff or our mess, it was left by the previous renter and the Landlord never got around to getting it cleaned up.
So, I have had enough and we are cleaning it up today and I think my shower later is going to last a long time.

Any antique kerosene lanterns down there?

I'll have them if you don't want them.

Naps are awesome.

Now when I take naps I wake up with a dog on my chest.

A nice cat nap almost always cures my headaches.

With our schedule being off now, with Chow working nights, I've taken a couple of naps where I was sleeping really deeply. I'm usually a light sleeper.

One day Chow called me and woke me up. I was in such a groggy state, I was looking at the incoming phone number on the phone and thinking, Okay. It's Chow calling. What do I do next?

LOL. I was completely out of it.

Apparently I'm bad at naps, because whenever I've napped I wake feeling groggy and out-of-it and cranky, not refreshed and revitalized. "Just close your eyes for 20 minutes," they say. "You'll feel fantastic," they say.

It's supposedly better if you just take short ones; 15 minutes, half hour, whatever.

^^ That's what I was going to say. If you sleep longer than 1/2 hour you go into a deep sleep, like REM or something.
