My partner and I have been together for 6 years and we have a 1 year old son. Things are not so good when it comes to sex since the baby was born, which is natural. She's more worried, more tired and I understand all of that.

Wow, really man? Look at it this way, your partner had a kid a year ago, and not wanting sex isn't necessarily a drawback from having a child. What is something that happens a lot is PPD. Not discussing it with her first was a huge mistake. Another mistake would be to actually have sex with the other woman. Wow, hope you are better at being a father, because you show no signs of compassion towards your woman. After having a kid, she probably doesn't feel as attractive, and from the sounds of it, I'm assuming she still shows signs of her pregnancy. Introducing a female into the bedroom, as a "surprise" isn't a good idea at this point.
