Saw a 34 year old woman whose online dating profile stated, "I only go for cute bald/shaved Hispanic guys from age 33 to 39, so if you don't meet this criteria don't waste your time."
No wonder online dating is a waste of time for guys. Most guys also have their likes/dislikes but they are usually guidelines, not hard and fast rules. I think most men are more flexible and open minded in this regard....
Your user name reminds me a television series. Nice user name OP. Do you know my opinion about those people. Who is looking a man or a woman for real wont put that rules. They will just go to what they want.
This is the opposite of a waste of time. She's laying out her preference up front, so neither of you waste any time. That's the beauty of online dating, if you met this girl in person you'd have to find out the hard way that you aren't her type.
Some do, some don't. But really, except for the bald head thing, it's not that narrow. I am assuming she's Hispanic... a lot of people want to date within their own culture and/or race. And the age range is 6 years... how old is she? Is that just a range that's (for example) 3 years older and 3 years younger than her... so she wants to date someone about her age (again, not that unusual). The bald head thing, again, that's the narrow point I suppose... but maybe she just really likes bald men the way some men like redheads or some women like men with beards or what have you.
But like another poster said, it does save you time. Why go out and go through all the trouble to be told that you are ambiguously "not her type?" Better to know up front and move on to someone else if you like.
Yes. We agreed at the "What all women think" convention that every women would, from this day forth, set their dating range that narrowly.
