Exactly, Chow.

I'm not sure what I want as far as work goes, but one of the things is what you said: No stress. I sit and watch the 20- and 30-somethings having near-breakdowns over work and I try to tell them that it just isn't worth it (though I was a workaholic when I was that age, so guess I see myself in them). I can get buy with less income, but I would like to make enough to take care of my house. I also would like to help people, if not through work, then through volunteering after work hours. I just need something to matter these days. Something needs to make sense.

And, yeah, we don't know when our last day will be. No one leaves his or her home in the morning, heading toward work, thinking that they will be in an accident or in crossfire.

This is way off topic but I am hungry and have no idea what I want for supper.
Maybe a cheese toastie.

What is a cheese toastie? Cheese in toast? Or a grilled cheese sandwich?

I brought work home with me, so I'd better get to it. It's getting late already . . .

A Cheese Toastie is known by those not raised in my Mother's kitchen as a grilled cheese.

I haven't had grilled cheese in a long time. But, I better not start thinking of food, because it's time to hit the hay. Night, Everyone.

Nope, small cast iron skillet or cast iron griddle, or non stick pan.

I am working on putting together a course of medical training for firefighters. I might even offer it to law enforcement. Even complete with book, presentations and lecture. I want to have this done in the next 30 days.

This is really sad. Just out of interest, how easy is it to get a gun in America & why are people opposed to mental health screening prior to the purchase?
