Eventually I'll have to get used to quiet isolation again, because once we retire we are going back to northern Vermont.

I want a cabin in the mountains. Or I'll do the RV thing.

That's my retirement dream: cabin in the woods, with a covered porch and bookshelves built into the wall, easy access to trout fishing.

Yup. And a shop big enough to work on projects.

A worshop is a must. I'll finally have a place to keep my tile bins in plain view, shelves and flat surfaces for my monstrosities in progress. And hopefully some beer-making equipment, for when we're snow bound and craving some home brew.

I spent most of the afternoon in front of the fireplace with a fire going. I split the wood by hand. This keeps up, I'm going to have to get another pickup load of firewood.

I picture a fire going, with a dog laying in front of it, and you sitting in a wonderful leather chair. A real Norman Rockwell sort of image.

Okay, it's time for this old girl to get some sleep. I ran errands, then ran after an 18 month old for a couple hours. It kept my mind off . . . things . . . for a while.

And really? Does it HAVE to be Monday tomorrow? If I was running for President, the weekend would be 5 days long and the work week would be two. AND the time wouldn't change in spring and fall. LOL

Mr. CSD and I spent some time at one of my favorite places today, then we went out to supper.
My Doctor wants me to adapt my diet to a more mediterranean menu so we went to the book shop so I could do a bit of looking to see what I could find.
After that we went to Texas Roadhouse and had a Ribeye, baked potato, salad and a fresh roll, Mr. CSD has green beans instead of the potato.

I hate when someone is goading you in a thread and you decide to take the high road and not answer them and then they sort of grind your face in it with another comment... LOL... I want to go into a thread and just ream someone but taking the high road is actually physically killing me... LOL.. I guess they won when you're all pissed off about something....

I sometimes just wish I could really speak my mind here, I'd let a string of expletives and adjectives fly to the point that you'd think that someone had resurrected Shakespeare I'd get so eloquent on their azzes..........
