We've been cooling off a lot the last few days, except today, it was 80, but the humidty was down so it was a piece of cake.

We don't mate but we've had an Indian summer ( even in a t shirt today at work ) so usually when that happens we get slaughtered in the winter weather wise

Recruiter called me up today, gave me some pointers on how to make my resume read better, one of the things he said was to move the education information to the bottom of the resume as "no one cares about that, they only care about what you can actually do."

I found that somewhat interesting, I suppose for new hires you have to focus on your education cause that's all you have to really sell. I think him knowing my existing background is why he said that, at this stage in my life, unless I'm totally changing careers, I suppose it doesn't matter all that much.

Certain jobs once you have about 5 yrs experience no one really pays attention to your education, actually a lot of careers are that way, but some aren't so it depends on the industry you work.

Mine, being HVAC, it's such a vast catch all terms for tons of jobs, you have every skill level from full blown professional engineer to guys that are just tech school trained with backgrounds coming from electrical, mechanical, computer IT networks, electronics and more....

So... I suppose another TMI post..
