So... I just returned to the United States after living overseas (mostly Japan) for 15 years. I bought a Virgin Mobile phone recently.
Is cellphone reception in the US supposed to be this AWFUL? It sounds like auto-tuned pop music, on AM radio.
Sorry if I commented in the wrong thread.
Best to ask that in the Science and technology forums under Cell phones subform. But some areas do have very bad reception. Eastern Tennessee for the most part is terrible.

Virgin and most of smaller carrier suck the great big wet one. Verizon does good in the western states. AT&T is okay. AT&T bought out a smaller carrier that I was using years ago. The switch was awful. I switched to verizon and it was better. Using AT&T the last couple of weeks it was fairly decent.
Adi, I thought of you because you are from India, I did not assume about the Muslim part. I thought you might be able to help this girl get answers to her questions.
Mrs.. Chow is making homemade egg rolls tomorrow. I had to drive to three damn stores to find the wrappers. I mean WTF.... LOL.... first world problems, but still.....
The third store had them and I felt like I won the lotto.....
The egg roll recipe is old as the hills, but they turn out pretty darn tasty.
