Why is it some wives complain if their spouse spends too much time with his parents? Let's say the parents have physical problems and their son has to come over and help his folks out with things? The wife's parents on the other hand don't have any physical problems. All they complain useless stuff such as vacation to some destination and the husband has to suffer through all that nonsense. If the wife complains is it worth dumping and divorcing her if she can't be patient with her husband's parents? Yes or no?
Sounds like nothing anymore important than the little lady and her family. Have no idea how old or how long you've been married or when you parents became somewhat handicapped. Dont think divorce is the answer. Sounds like you are either using your parents as not to be home or she has issues with your parents. Jealousy also may play into this.
True. Sometimes it is not worth getting married or in a relationship if the guy has parents that have hearts on their sleeve and has physical problems and the wife has parents with no physical problems and just brag about vacations and spending money right???

Well if the wife if not showing respect for handicapped people and loved ones she is definitely worth a divorce

Is this a specific scenario to you OP, or are you just generalizing that women do this?
I ask since I have never known a woman to complain about their spouse having to take care of his elderly parents. I know many, many individuals who are married.
Now, in a specific instance, maybe a particular woman is having to pick up more of the household chores while the husband is caring for his parents. Or any other number of reasons which result from the change in circumstances with the husband being gone more.
One doesn't "dump" their spouse. That said, I certainly cannot see initiating a divorce over a "complaint."

Bitter much? Your initial post is too vague and sounds like a rant from someone who clearly shouldn't have married in the first place. How much time are we talking about here? A few hours a week or a few hours a day? The way you describe it reads that her folks are self absorbed ogres while yours are poor, down trodden, salt of the earth people who just need a helping hand. If you're so unhappy then leave. Or...you could have a rational discussion with your wife or a counselor. Doubt that's going to happen

You will learn some bluff crap to get their way.
Take care of your parents if they need help. Later she will get her emotions in check and tell you it's nice you go over there to help out. Ignore her and don't feel bad.
