I'm currently single because, for the first time in my life, I can be pickier about the women I choose to date.
Although I'm 21, a college senior with great future income potential, tall (6'2"), fun to hang around (according to my friends), and adventurous, I have always had one big problem: I was obese. Even with these positive traits, many of the women who I found attractive wouldn't even look at me. I could never blame them for this, as even I knew that I wasn't physically attractive. I decided to take responsibility and lose the weight, and I have dropped from 300.4 to 214.6 (-86.4 lbs) since January 2016. I have lost most of my stomach and gained much more muscle tone. My ultimate goal is to reach 190 lbs by my 22nd birthday on August 29th.
I look for a few things in a woman; intelligence is #1, and spontaneity, attractiveness, level of optimism and positivity, adventurousness, and determination to succeed with me are the other major qualifiers that come in no particular order. Now that I have improved my physical attractiveness, I can search for these traits within a wider dating pool.
Last month, I also ended a relationship with a girl who ended up cheating on me with at least 5 different guys behind my back during the course of our relationship, so I'm kind of in between finding a girl to date and enjoying my 20s and holding off on relationships for a while. As bad as I want to do FWB arrangements, I know that I want a partner who I can grow with and share a deeper emotional connection. My life is so confusing right now!

You've made lots of progress. Keep moving in that direction. You'll see the fruit of your labor. Congrats and good luck, sir.
Still looking for that attractive woman with low self esteem, a bad heart, and a trust fund.
On a more serious note. You settle or surrender. Which one are you, or maybe a little in between.
