Are ppl usually on there just for hookups, one night type of ordeal.. or actually long-term dating?
I've never used dating apps so just wanted your insight. I recently downloaded OKC and just started talking to this one guy that I found really cute and NOT creepy (so far). Obv I would have to go on a date to know his intentions haha but I have a feeling everyone on there is just looking to hook up. Any success dating stories on here?
I used OKC on and off for about two and a half years. It was my preferred dating site by far. I think its matching algorithm is brilliant, and was a very efficient and effective tool for screening potential matches. The vast majority of my matches that met my criteria (at least 90% match with 500+ questions answered) were high quality. While there were indeed the types you see more on other sites, these profiles only showed up in the "locals" ("see who is on") that is not filtered for specific criteria, so you get errbody.
I met my husband and two previous SOs on OKC, and many more I dated briefly or one-and-dones (dozens).

The answer to your question is yes.
There are people on there with all sorts of intentions. Sometime it is really obvious. Sometimes You won't know what it is until you ask. Sometimes you won't know until you get let down.
As a guy I found the highest quality dates on OKC, but also found a number of women just to have a fling with. Read somewhere that there is a one in three chance of getting sex on the first date with women over 40, plus read that women who drink beer tend to have sex quicker than wine or cocktail drinkers. So when I was single and looking to have fun, I looked for 40-something women who would want to meet for beer on the first date. My experience confirmed those odds. By answering a lot of questions on the site it was easy to target the kind of woman I wanted. When it was time to settle down I looked for the women who wanted a relationship and only wanted to meet for coffee on the first date. So got one serious LTR that lasted over two years off of OKC and probably 20 fun dates.
It's a mixed bag. Some of the girls on there use angles way too much. Clearly trying to hide their weight. I have had problems trying to find someone to chat intelligently. Usually it stalls out quickly because they are using one word answers. Sometimes I will find one that things go well but I have never actually met someone from the site. My daughters mom found her current boyfriend on OKC and they seem like a great fit, so I think it's worth the time.
