I've had one before and while it wasn't a great experience, it didn't taint me from being willing to try again. Sadly, I don't know anyone who has someone they can set me up with since I haven't gotten to the point of being willing to switch teams yet.

My friend was VERY hesitant to be set up with someone another friend suggested. For one thing, she wasn't sure she really wanted to start dating anyone. For another, he's 15 years older (45 and 60). They've been together now for almost a year and just got back from their second vacation in the span of two months.

I prefer them, because they just assume I'm gorgeous.

I mean what do they know?

They stand there in their shades feeling for my hand, reaching outward...I pet the service dog, straighten up and say, "Yes. Yes, I AM beautiful. How did you know?" They seem pretty much satisfied with that.

Also, no need to fumble reaching for the light switch to dim the lights later.
