It started out well, but then she started bombarding me with her family issues back in California. Now, I'm not so sure she will settle in for a relationship with me over here .
I dunno, should I just move on or wait ? I trusted her a lot based on what I heard over phone and was almost ready to commit.

It's good to be optimistic, but you shouldn't be ready to commit after only two phone calls. She's still a stranger, for all intents and purposes. If you think you want to spend more time getting to know her, do that, but if you have a bad feeling after your first meet, there's no shame in moving on.
