A man who even suggests that to "ain' serious" in my eyes; clearly got me mixed up with some chick he once knew... I would be extremely turned off and question his intentions for dating me.
Many men do this, but I don't recommend women taking them up on it. The first few dates are about you getting to know each other casually; you have a lot of time for at-home movie nights once you too are more comfortable with each other.
