Its pretty normal for a guy to break up, discover he isn't getting as much sex, and to come around trying to get the ex back into bed, without any real desire to start the relationship up again.
I know at least a dozen women going through a divorce who had the ex come back around trying to get sex.
I did have one ex boyfriend, caught cheating, who kept calling me for months, saying, "but I said I was sorry" and, "I swear I won't do it again". It took him quite awhile to give up. I think he really believed it was OK to cheat and if he got caught all he had to do was to apologize and everything would be fine.
Just curious on others experiences. Over the last 4 years I've had 4 women break up with me only to contact me a few months later.
All 4 gave me the generic "I'm not sure if I want a relationship right now" excuse or something along those lines when breaking up with me. One did have ex drama.
Probably the most interesting one was the first one who contacted me after 5 months of no contact to apologize to me. I told her there was nothing to be sorry for and I hope she was going good. An hour later she texts me inviting me to meet her at a bar. I do and she ends up coming home with me and we have sex that night and then again in the morning. She left and I never hear from her again. Definitely did not see that one coming.
How about you?
Out of the 4 relationships I've had in my life (including with my wife), I have been the one that broke up with them.. but I did have 2 try to re-communicate afterwards.
1. In college a girl I dated briefly just had family conflicts at the time. I ended it, and she tried to re-communicate weeks later.
