Oh, well... so be it... Still better to have some excitement once in a while considering how many people quietly hate each other under the same roof permanently. I don't regret it. What I do regret is that it happened at a very vulnerable time in my life and mostly that it was long-distance. Had it been in town, it would've died its natural death... I had no real desire or need to get married. And, yes, the contract does complicate things way more than living together even if there are no children involved, which is the reason many don't want to sign it. At least I had the good sense not to move. Quitting jobs and uprooting yourself brings about the most scary horror stories.
My husband says that he thinks it was the thrill of the chase and he is a player and she got played. He said that he wonders the age of the guy and his maturity level because it doesn't seem to be there.
My own (female) point of view is that the guy was a player and obviously a good liar.
Your friend should move on, meet people in person and become friends with men. Who knows what might come from that. I do have to wonder about a 35 year old lady with no kids and so much "going on". Raises some red flags for me.
There's also perhaps a lesson to be learned in this---there's no need to buy any milk when you've got a cow following you home. Don't put out too early. That's for all of us girls. And its a wrap!

Number one, a snort laugh is one of the hottest little quirks a woman can have...well, at least to me. Much sexier to me than any supermodel wannabe attitude. Meh. I like goofiness--explains my crush on Brittany Murphy, I guess.
And second, why the hell would he leave her if she gave "sex too easy?" Uh, in fact, that's an attractive quality to some. More than some, really.
And the non-sex...well, that's actually an explanation.
I don't think anybody would go to such great lengths just for a one-night stand. There are local women after all.
Maybe he has gone through all the local yokals!
As antiquated as this may seem, there is so much lost in the fast physical relationships, or "hook ups". The anticipation, the courting, the ROMANCE of it all is lost when it is so easy! The pursued and pursuer game ladies!
Maybe he is turned on by the chase and she came to the finish line too early.
Who knows???
