Spent the day at my mom's, with my sis and her family. We went down to the beach tonight and sat out on the sand and watched all the fireworks around us...it was a really nice evening...and beautiful weather. I would have loved to stay there all night - I could have easily fallen asleep on the beach listening to the waves.

Made a late run to the local grocery store to buy some treats. I got into the express lane (10 items or less) and the guy in front of me was struggling to pay for his groceries. He was short about $10 and told the cashier that he needed to put his food back because he couldn't afford it. Well, I stepped in and bought all his groceries for him and he was shocked. He asked me my name and I gave it to him. Told me he was a manager at Starbucks and that he would remember my face and asked me to come in for a free coffee anytime. I told him I dont' drink Starbucks and not to worry about compensation.

Feels good to help people.

Ate really good homemade pepperoni pizza for dinner/ And then I had a piece of chocolate cat. It was incredibly unhealthy but worth every calorie.
