See, my Saturday morning viewing was the Bugs Bunny stuff (I think Warner Brothers cartoons from the 50s were the greatest artistic achievements of their time. Nobody realized it at the time).

The other program I watched every Saturday morning? Land Of The Lost...remember with the dinosaurs and the Sleestaks running around everywhere?

Danger Island...except it seems like they only made five episodes of the Banana Splits and just kept running them over and over again.

Now, the coolest cartoon ever was Johnny Quest. That was a show that treated kids as if they had brains. I mean, all you have to do is look at the bitchin opening to know it was good:

YouTube - Johnny Quest original opener

What amazes me is that while they'll make a movie version of stupid shows like Scooby Doo, they haven't made a movie out of Johnny Quest. It would make zillions of dollars.
