Where I live in NZ here there are nearly two females for every one male. Not sure how common that is in many other parts of the world. Thinking pretty rare.

But people always forget to make the difference between "available females" (adult but not old, not married, being ready for a relationship, reasonibly healthy and good looking, etc) and females on the whole (with children, grandmas, married women, etc), if one makes that difference, the sex ratio between men and women is never as good as it seems, if one takes into account that more boys are born than girls, and even if the death ration of males is more important that the death ratio of females at all age, in most countries at 20 there are an average of 10% more men than women...

Should have clarified that is in the age bracket of 20-35.
It is difficult. Most of the women here in the Midwest are taken.
People say that a lot about the Midwest. But aren't you a college student? There must be plenty in your age range that aren't taken yet. And if they have bf's, those relationships don't always last.

The majority of them are indeed taken. I've tried approaching them, they all have boyfriends or husbands.
