There's nothing wrong with a little, "Right now" as long as it's done safely. Everyone has their needs and human contact is something desired by most everyone. When I was younger there was a point right after my divorce where I Did what I wanted, who I wanted, when I wanted (but it took me longer than knowing them for an hour)... Now I look back & realize it was a way for me to get a man to touch me, to get attention without worrying about getting my heart broke.

The only scary part is what a few did mention: You don't know everyone and who knows where they've been, what they have. What if someone has no conscious and is on a mission to spread HIV or something ?? Ack!!! SCAREY !!!!!
You hope people are honest and not a complete wacked out freak ... I mean there was a girl in NYC recently who spent a little time witha guy, left with him, and was found in a dumpster the next day ... I'm sure she had no clue he had another side to him ...

Bottom line is an in my experience you can tell, not 100% but what is? For example the last girl I did it with, never seen her before no, but she was highly attractive/healthy, the crowd she was with looked heatlthy.
If on the slim chance she did have something, protection was used (as you always should).
Ya, I tend to navigate towards people with sparkling, warm and funny personalities, lots of friends, close to their family and booming accomplished careers. That's all first-meeting conversation also- If someone has a career they are proud of, they talk about it- "So, what do you do" ... And, if they are close to their family, chances are that comes up in casual conversation also.
