I've never seen anything that wild for heteros. The closest we get to that is Coachella (a big music fest) and the Swing and Salsa convention for 2 weeks in August. But I have never, EVER seen anybody at either of these events dressed like the folks at the White Party.

Hmmm...ever been to any big NYC clubs (The Tunnel, Limelight, Webster Hall, Sound Factory, Exit)??? Only difference is they were usually hanging from the ceiling at the clubs.
