I can see this being a "whatever" in the teens because well..teens are insane. lol
But I notice this a lot in the adult world. I got treated totally differently by women when I was slobbed out and chunky. That was not me and after changing things I feel better. I still act the same. But women are strait up c**** with snide remarks if they think you might look better than they do it seems. Women never admit they do this and it seems only guys agree with me and laugh at the other women go "oh well I never"
we are jealous creatures, good looks are an enormous trump card. for it to fail you gota be a very very bad player. as to comments on women and competition.
its the female lions that do all the hunting and killing the male is a figurehead.
I'm straight and female and I love both good-looking men and women. I'm visual in nature (art background).
I adore all of my hot female friends. I think they make me look better just by hanging out with them.
When men are threatened by another particularly good-looking male they will toss out terms like "gay" and "dick". Pay attention and you will find this to be the case. It usually makes me laugh.
Well there are less men than there are women. For that reason most women are driven by instinct to be aggressive, even territorial, since the numbers show that there is not a man for every woman. This has been true since the beginning of time for obvious biological reasons.
Us men on the other hand are completely different. Thousands of years of evolution have apparently not weeded out the alpha male mentality.
What is that old saying.. Women are enemies until something makes them friends, and men are friends until something makes them enemies..
Its just like "flowers for algernon" but with the book of looks or something to me because I only went through a slob phase and I thought I was young and paranoid back in the day or people were immature....But I guess..whatever...
