If you are having sex constantly and daily you are not going to allow time for semen to build up. That's all.
As for the performance level...I am 40 and have no trouble getting aroused. If I were with a hot, sexy young lady I think that would increase my level by alot. For you to speculate is not loving. Even if he is, does it matter? Seriously?
I don't like marathon sex when it leads to sore parts either. What about find some things that really get him hot so he's a few steps closer before you start in or if it's in the morning tell him he has to wait for you and tell him something very naughty to think about all day. Go without panties, wear something sexy, tell him you want him to bend you over the dresser, whatever to make him think about it so he'll be more revved up.
Are you getting satisfied with the marathon sex or is it getting boring after a while as in maybe you think ahead of time that he's not going to finish so you aren't as into it?
