My kids are laughing at me. I had to alter on facebook to get enough friends to buy a pond on farmville . How pathetic is that. Altering and befriending myself because I can't come up with enough friends on line, lol.

(I have more friends than six. I just don't have friends who play farmville. Come to think of it, that's pretty pathetic too )

So what's your pathetic moment on line?

Having heated discussions with people that I don't even really know through online and letting it get to me. That's pathetic.

Once on my facebook status I wrote: People I cook, I really really cook!!!

That's because I was always a career woman and I was an average cook...didn't really like cooking... When I became a housewife, I fell in love with cooking and started experimenting with all these new recipes.

I got about 100 comments from my friends on this status, all making fun of me. Something along the line: "geez, it took you to move to Florida to start cooking" or "what magic woo-doo did your husband perform on you"...etc...

The I realized that I have hundreds of people as my friends that I don't know, because I have a home-based supplements business and I'm networking.

Oh, I do that all the time.
"black socks are better"
"no white ones!"
"no black ones!"

I know I'm the odd woman out, but I'm so glad I don't have a Facebook account because of this stuff.

There is no one from my high school past that I care to look up and reconnect with. It's not that I'm a superior person...it's because there is no one out there that I even remember as friendly and sociable!

But if people do, more power to them!

You know, few months ago, I barely even looked at my Facebook profile or whatever. I would go there to befriend some enterpenuers, promote my supplements and leave. Although I did have a lot of friends there, I didn't really need to hang out there. Now that I moved, I'm actually grateful for it. It's a good way to keep track of my friends in New York, because apparently they forgot that there is such a thing as a TE-LE-PHONE.

What's the most pathetic thing I've ever done online?

I flashed a guy on webcam.

I'm so going to hell

I disagree with calling it pathetic in fact I think it is good. We all post here for one reason or another but mainly to communicate and express things otherwise we may not. There are topics from this section to every other section that often are not brought up or are just wrong time wrong place or person with someone face to face.

What does it matter if you "know" us or not? I know you, you are cricket factor. You are interacting with people with something that obviously interests you someway. That is the beauty of the internet in part. There are certain topics that I get to engage here that some of my friends could care less about or are reserved to do so. And I engaging on a forum expands my ability to engage a person face to face at least that is what I have found.

If a topic got to you it means it mattered to you and there is no difference whether that person was online or sitting in front of you.

Anyway I'm going out to engage a pitcher of beer and shoot some pool so see ya soon.

Thank you. That was very sweet of you to say those things.
