It feels good, but you do shrivel... As soon as I arrive in some place humid and I feel like I have skin again! That's horrible for hair and make-up, though. Can't win them all...

Its about total heat here. Moisture is the real villain. Moister air can hold more "heat". Its also about how the body dissipates heat. If the air is warmer and moister, our bodies can't "displace" the heat we produce.

If the air is hot but dryer, the ambient air can "receive" more heat from our bodies.
