True. And when you go a little deeper, these features are also similar to the parents' features. It applies to both men and women. I've seen so many pictures of couples who look like siblings it's scary! Even came across a book on the subject in the library once.
Agreed on that one, and luckily, I haven't find myself attracted to any female that similar to my mom ==" That would've been....Well, let's just say I don't even want to imagine that....
There's honestly no accounting for why I find a certain female attractive. ... But there's something about her, about the way she carries herself, the way she smiles, something I behind her skin that is just irresistible.
It is the same for me with men. I look at all my relationships/attractions and they have very, very little in common with each other looks-wise, and only one would be considered conventionally attractive. I'd say the only common variables are they tend to be in decent shape but not overly muscular and have good teeth.
When the movie Titanic was in theaters, a lot of people were asking why so many teenage girls were attracted to Leonardo DiCaprio. One theory that I heard on more than one occasion was that young girls find men with softer, more feminine features like those of DiCaprio to be less intimidating. There are also guys who seem to prefer boyish looking women (thin, flat chested, tomboyish in dress). Do you ever find yourself being drawn to people like this and what, if anything, do you think it says? I try not to read too much into people's preferences, even if I don't agree or understand them. But without judging, what do you think?
I've never really thought about it - I simply attribute to the fact that everyone has their own tastes. For me though...my man needs to look like a man. No feminine types for me.

my best firend finds rosie o'donnell types irresistable. he of course later dumps them when he comes to his senses. being temporarily insane is a nice stress reliever.
