So here's my ridiculous question. I have no problem eating normally when I'm by myself or with friends but when I get around this girl I can't eat. We used to date a few years ago and everything was fine back then. I didn't have this problem. Now we've been spending some time together lately and there's a chance of us getting back together. I think it's mostly nerves and excitement and anxiety maybe. I don't know though. It's to the point that I have even gotten sick when she comes over. I had to excuse myself and go to the bathroom and throw up. Pretty damn weird and pathetic but I can't shake it.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If you have what did you do to get over it.

You are right, it is about nerves, excitement and anxiety. It is also about a little lack in self confidence. It will disappear as you become more comfortable with each other. It happens quite often, so you are not alone reacting like this.

That's what I assumed. It's just weird because when we were dating before this never happened. We are definitely comfortable around each other right now. We can be ourselves and all that. I don't know maybe I just need to get out of my head a little bit and try not to think about it so much.
You have social anxiety disorder with her. Go to the doctor, take anxiety pills when she's going to meet you. At least, that seems like a solution?
