Wink back?? I am always smiling so when somebody is winking chances are I am smiling but not so sure about the winking back part. I actually would get a little nervous when my coworker would wink at me during conversations (she is attractive). Sometimes I would feel awkward wondering what the heck happened here.
The winker holds the power.....look at the sway it has over you!
When they wink at you, send them a "two-can-play-at-that-game" wink back. Up their silly ONE wink with TWO winks back!
Wink away!
(and then please report back.....I have no idea what the ramifications of a 'double-wink back' may be )
Guess your a babe magnet! It must suck to be you! Attractive women winking at you all the time. Yeah...I wouldn't want to be in your shoes!
Good luck with that!
I think riveree has hit on it. If I wink at a guy (and it is rare to do so!) it means I am comfortable, really like him as a person, and is innocent flirting only. If I thought he wouldn't take it that way, would not do it!
Thank god you are not in NC, it could be worse. It would go way beyond winking, there would be "Darlin, Sweety, Honey, Nice butt baby and more. I have never been anywhere where there are so many sexual undertones. But really they are just being friendly and flirty!!
Hey I think u should be polite and smile. Although I am female and I don't wink even if I think a guy is cute. I have spent a lot of time in Texas over the years and I can't think of any female friends who wink either...but maybe u got it like that
I think lilypad got it right. I'm a Texan and I'd take a purposeful wink (as opposed to a twitch), especially from an older person, as a sign of friendliness, or encouragement, or acknowledging a little joke. At most it's harmless flirting.
