And what I mean by that is, does the very idea of someone not believing what you believe bother or irritate you? If so why?

I don't care what anyone else believes.

The narrow-mindedness and bigotry show by some atheists irritates me.
But, then again, the narrow-mindedness and bigotry shown by some theists also irritates me.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Less than 2% of the world's population believes what I do, so it would be pretty much a self-defeating behavior for me to let other people's beliefs bother me. I'm occasionally bothered by the way people who don't share my beliefs act -- but this goes for theists and non-theists alike. As far as I'm concerned, though, belief is just belief. It's absurd to be irritated by other people's beliefs.

As a theist I welcome the opinions of those who believe differently than me. Constant debate can lead to constant questioning of your own beliefs, and is good for developing reasons why you think the way that you do.

And that, ladies and gentlemen . . . sums it up quite adequately.

Hopefully I look at each person as an individual and not upon their beliefs of disbelief's. At least that is what I try to do.

I have no concern if a person does or does not believe as I do. That is between them and God(swt) Nothing I need to control.

I only hold responsibility for my own beliefs and really don't have either the time or energy to be concerned about . the beliefs of anybody else

With that said there are many people here both Atheists and Theists I deeply enjoy discussing things with and there are a small number of theists and atheists I avoid making any responses to. There are flowers and thorns among both Theists and theists. I prefer to stick with the flowers..
