You "bread" it and fry it. You do it because they're good! I usually avoid them, however, because like most fried food, they're a tad high in calories! They are on the menu at many restaurants here in the Dallas area!

Cg, I was gonna suggest for you : cg's Christian Canadian Candies or even maybe cg's crispy Canadian bacon!

well..Im from the south and I have never ate a fried pickle...isnt that close to fried squash or okra?

My mother used to whip up a dessert called "Heavenly Hash"
Coconut, orange slices, pineapple, and all sorts of other fruit. I have no idea if she ever had a recipe. Plus some kind of juice. Apple? Orange? It varied from time to time according to what she picked up at the store. Served cold......it was really Heavenly!!
