I nominate Hoosier to be owner, I will help arguy at the karoke machine and by that I mean I will be the bad singer having fun and eating fried pickles.
well get ready to sing...staying alive..staying alive..cause its 70's night at the ..at the um..whats the name of this place again?
oh yea..heavenly hunger hut
Originally I thought Heathen Hunger Hut would be fun, but then came up with Heavenly Hunger Hut instead. Didn't want to anger anyone, or get any of those little red dots and lose all my hard-earned rep points!
I think Maitre D's should be Irishmom and June. Two lovely ladies to greet everyone at the door! And that way no one can say they were treated unfairly, or given a rotten seat because they were an Atheist or a Christian! Best of both worlds.
OK I have to know...how do you fry a pickle? and why?
Irish.. if you haven't had fried pickles yet.. you simply haven't lived life.
The pickle chips (or spears) come out all nice and warm... then you dip them in some ranch dressing.. OoooooWEEEE make you get up and smack someone. Its the perfect combination of fried + ranch.
Nothing and I mean nothing is finer on a cool morning than:
1 slice of scrapple fried up
Put on piece of nasty buttered toasted white bread that has zero nutritional value..
place slice of scrapple on bread... consume.
Don't worry about the grease stains on your cheek.. thats the international scrapple sign of good eats.
I thot this was an Amish thing! (grandparents on mom's side left the Amish) I've had it a few times at reunions, etc. Love it, but oh, the fat content!!
