They did eat it.
They did eventually die.
One could argue that their innocence died - that who they had been died immediately, but physically the began to die and eventually they died.

[Arguably they would have died anyway (thus the Lord of the Elohim needed them to think they were dying because they did not obey their 'creator' when in fact - naturally speaking they were never going to live forever. The trees acted as placebos.]

if they didn't fall into temptation. The Devil lied and said it would make them like God.

The devil wasn't mentioned. It was another species called 'Serpent' and the Serpent told the truth that they would become like their god. Their God confirmed this by saying later 'they have become like us."

Adam did not see Eve die or negatively affected by it right away because God didn't
act until after Adam ate (and after he confessed, which is important also).
- F

Adam never confessed - at least not properly. He was caught out and then proceeded to blame both Eve and the Lord of the Elohim.
Also note: After they 'confessed' (as you put it) they did not immediately die.

Barring them from the Garden was only one of the results of disobedience but it
wasn't only the disobedience, it was the tree itself which brought evil/good, the dichotomous
yin.yang which is nature since is in the fruit, it brought sin where there was none and death
where there was none. God didn't just tell them not to eat it because He wanted to be obeyed,
He told them not to eat it because it was BAD, not as some form of game.
- most likely -F

If the Elohim Lord is 'Good' then knowing good and evil isn't 'bad' as you suggest. More importantly the story clearly shows that Lord of the Elohim was playing a game, and not a very nice one at that.

Some believe the Devil made it...
Well beliefs are a strange and oft dangerous thing. What people should do with their beliefs is examine them thoroughly and if there is even a smidgen of falsity therein, to abandon the belief altogether.

Your posts where shredded. They were scoped and shown to be erroneous. You would do well to contemplate how false your beliefs are and adjust accordingly.

And Jehovah God taketh the man, and causeth him to rest in the garden of Eden, to serve it, and to keep it. And Jehovah God layeth a charge on the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden eating thou dost eat; and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it — dying thou dost die.’

And the serpent hath been subtile above every beast of the field which Jehovah God hath made, and he saith unto the woman, ‘Is it true that God hath said, Ye do not eat of every tree of the garden?’ And the woman saith unto the serpent, ‘Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we do eat, and of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden God hath said, Ye do not eat of it, nor touch it, lest ye die.’ And the serpent saith unto the woman, ‘Dying, ye do not die, for God doth know that in the day of your eating of it — your eyes have been opened, and ye have been as God, knowing good and evil.’

Thusly it is confirmed twice that they ate of all the trees except the forbidden tree, by Jehovah's own words
and by Eve to the Devil. The only tree they were restricted not to eat was the singular forbidden tree, which
was not the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Life did not become restricted until they were expelled from the Garden.

Adam did confess. ‘The woman whom Thou didst place with me — she hath given to me of the tree — and I do eat.
So, then explain to me how it was that G-d did not want them to eat from the Tree of Life BECAUSE if they did then they would live forever, that being said indicates that they had not eaten from the Tree of Life, because if they had they would already be immortal because that was the purpose of the Tree of Life...

22Now the Lord God said, "Behold man has become like one of us, having the ability of knowing good and evil, and now, lest he stretch forth his hand and take also from the Tree of Life and eat and live forever."

Why did G-d make this statement, if they were already eating from the Tree of Life which made them immortal?...
