I'm sorry, but I know many christians who out and out believe that the miracles of the bible are absolute fact. Again, christians need to get their act together and decide what their faith really believes before they set out to convert others.

I agree with you. But that's what happens when you don't read the Bible. For Jesus to literally "cast out devils" is, IMO, witchcraft...and that's forbidden by God. So it has to be allegorical...otherwise Jesus is a hypocrite and not pious enough to hold his position.
