Being overwhelmed by the beauty of nature, a person, music, a starry sky, etc - are things everyone has experienced; we just disagree it has anything to do with Jesus or a ‘god’. That we focus on the realities of the world does not exclude us from philosophical ‘wonder’.

You stated it was disturbing thinking someone/somewhere on planet earth, perhaps, questions whether or not atheist enjoy nature and that may be part of the reason 'you' need to perch on a religion and spirituality forum.
I stated it could be used as a great excuse to bash! Someone somewhere thinks so and so, and now everyone else needs to hear about. Any little morsel will do.

Yes, in order to hopefully correct the image of atheists quite commonly held. And, in this case, by an othewise seemingly very nice person.
Your last statement is just nonsensical since anybody can do that about anything for any or no purpose whatsoever... just like you 'used' my post to even bring it up.

Yes, it's certainly a hot topic in all the coffee shops and around the water coolers.
And anybody/somebody does do that every day in order to keep their ball in play, especially perpetual victims.

yeah, I wonder what type of atheist behaved in a way to misrepresent what atheism is?
what are atheist doing to correct it? preaching that we need to reject anything theist can use? reject everything a theist can use to make atheism harder to sell?
you made the statement. now you have to face your claim down.
What are you talking about? If you feel you have something of substance provide it.
