I agree, but with one caveat. I don't believe our spirits, per se, are eternal, because I believe that God created them, and did so long before we were born. I believe, however, that the highly refined matter from which they were created is co-eternal with God. In other words, He used this spirit matter to create spirits for each of us and that they will never cease to exist.
Anything created is not immortal and will die. If the soul is the same as the god material then it too is immortal, not created.
So you existed prior to the Universe? A yes or no is better than stating more that nerds to be interpreted.
Depens on what “you” is. If it means the body, it is mortal and everything mortal dies. If it is the atma/spirit/soul, the same as the universal spirit, it always exists transcending time and space. Within the human body it is this that illuminates the awareness of “I am”, when we wake up from a deep sleep. It is the source all knowledge, and also awareness of what we dont know.
So could my soul communicate with gods soul before my conception?
are you talking about your physical conception in this current physical incarnation? Your soul had a planning session with the soul of your parents. you chose that family to be born into and they agreed. you all planned it together and agreed to it. your soul and your parents soul are pieces of God. they are not apart from God. they are part of God.
