Your "lack of belief" is based on gaps. Asking you what you meant is not trying to learn? No you just don't believe you should be questioned regardless how unclear your sentences are. Plate tectonics referred to a specific process and related processes. I was taught that evolution was the variation in life not the origin of life which was the first question I asked and you referred to answer but instead of insulted me for daring to question what your statement actually meant.
If a theist asked me what I meant be something I said I would try to explain it differently not insult them for asking the question. Grow up and learn that not all your sentences are crystal clear in their meaning. You are not perfect.

More people believe in some thing than don't because it just is more consistent with observations than either deity and/or deny everything because we have to stop religion.

But to put it in perspective, in my home town in western New York State, the Methodist church -- once a busy, busy church -- recently went out of business and was sold, following one of the other mainstream churches in the town. The Catholic Church, which used to host 16 masses a week, now offers 1. The Methodist Church which is occasionally would attend in Colorado Springs never had a full parking lot and half the seats were empty all the time.
