So it doesn't matter what you were referring to because you believe I am fighting religion.

Then you are wrong evolution did not create life. Learn the science. Study biology as that is a very basic error for a person to make. Scientists do not claim that evolution created the first life.

I have not followed the thread much but was listening to a discussion on the radio. The gallup poll this based on - is it based on all white churches? That may have skewed the date because the Black churches have not lost their central role in Black people’s lives. One reason why Black churches are being set up as vaccination sites.

I don't think you know what you're talking about:

I said. The biosphere created life through the process of evolution. "Evolution" is like the words "Plate tectonics". Its a unifying theory, a story line of you will, that connects seemingly unrelated observations into a process where all the different pieces fit.

I don't even mind that you don't know badland. Its that you don't want to even try. Exactly like theist don't even want to look at how they believe and why.

.

Asking you what you meant is not trying to learn? No you just don't believe you should be questioned regardless how unclear your sentences are. Plate tectonics referred to a specific process and related processes. I was taught that evolution was the variation in life not the origin of life which was the first question I asked and you referred to answer but instead of insulted me for daring to question what your statement actually meant.

If a theist asked me what I meant be something I said I would try to explain it differently not insult them for asking the question. Grow up and learn that not all your sentences are crystal clear in their meaning. You are not perfect.

There's a reason pseudo sages aren't true sages.

Its kind of simple.

created us then had to send its son to save us by dying and rising doesn't make sense. Add in things like "gay love is evil" and it kind of ends the discussions. They have it wrong.

More people believe in some thing than don't because it just is more consistent with observations than either deity and/or deny everything because we have to stop religion.

Actual numbers outweigh your prejudiced observations. But to put it in perspective, in my home town in western New York State, the Methodist church -- once a busy, busy church -- recently went out of business and was sold, following one of the other mainstream churches in the town. The Catholic Church, which used to host 16 masses a week, now offers 1. The Methodist Church which is occasionally would attend in Colorado Springs never had a full parking lot and half the seats were empty all the time.

How do we explain the human mind. Well, if it's your mind...admittedly that can't be explained. But there doesn't have to be a christian god to have a human mind.

Your rant about evolution is dumb and laughable.
I wanted to update this. Testing indicated an incorrect initial diagnosis. The tumor was benign. Thanks for the good wishes from several of you.
