Here is a thought...Apparently biblical scholars have determined the date of creation by tracking the family tree of characters mentioned in the bible back to Adam and Eve, and the date of the great flood back to Noah's family. If we gave these people today's average life spans as an example I wonder what those dates would be?....Any math gurus here?

I would need to know which lifetimes overlap. But yeah, it would shave at least a thousand years from the current young-earth estimation.

This is correct,we don't die as we live on after death,we will die from this wretched Earth that man has corrupted .It is coming to the Lord and wanting to have a personal relationship with Him or not having one where we choose to live in Heaven or hell. So basically we never die just to this Earth,so if we are only 100 or 939 years of age as Methuselah we still live on in the afterlife.

Is is that from the Bible the Earth went around the sun twice as fast? Makes the "leap second" more amenable to speeding up corrections the other way around for the regular 365-1/4 days.
