Yeahhhhhhhhhh.. Never mind that it's mandatory to have a newborn hearing screening done within the first 48 hours after bith.

What does that have to do with the topic, and I don't believe that all states require hearing tests.
There really is a difference between a fetus and a baby.

The quote I was replying to was a person stating that prior to being 40 days old (post-partum, not gestation) a baby can not see, hear, etc. Babies can in fact hear before 40 days of age, and well enough that a hearing screening is often part of newborn testing procedures.

That's your opinion. Mine is that it's semantics.

Quite a few people believe that your soul isn't given to you until birth. It's not a new concept, it ties in (in some beliefs) with the Guf.

all children are alive....
God does not keep people out of heaven based on size or age.
the moment egg welcomes sperm, there is life, and there is love, for God loves the unseen as well as the seen.

God loves the 2-second old fertilized egg as much as he loves you...
God sees, God knows, God is not limited in his love to only loving people who love him back.
God loves even if the person never has a chance to say they love God...

and because the unborn child is already known and loved by God, it falls to us to make sure we do all we can to protect that unborn child

There is a dark side to some people...
there are people who wish to keep small children from the Lord.
They try to block a child from Jesus by thinking that "The child is too small, the child cant yet understand or reason"

But Jesus holds out his arms to such little ones, "Suffer the children to come onto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of God"

Here is part of a message from Jesus. He doesn't go into full detail but it's the jist of the subject we are talking about.

you must let them reap the consequences of their actions without blame, for God's Laws are sure;
Can You Back your claims with Scripture! I'd like to see these refferences thanks!

And as for the "Law of God": we no longer come under the Law but the grace of God! The New Covenant God has made with mankind is bringing everyone under the blood of jesus for the forgiveness of sins!

God will always have Laws. Only humans give it another name. The new covenant is that Divine Love saves from sin and not death and sacrifice, which is what Jesus taught. His religion was the Brotherhood of Man under one God. If you want to believe in the blood sacrifice and the murder of Jesus, then by all means do so.
